Hi Guys,

New to the forum even though I've had this account for a long time. Just wanted to share that it looks like Hawaiian Airlines is hiring dispatchers right now. Best of luck to those who apply!
 
So there is a real possibility of this happening???

Sadly I think I am the farthest point possible in the US away from Hawaii. I would like to trade in for some sun one day!

That was the case when I talked to them. Wasn't a big issue for me but I think that they should be able to positive space an interviewee on one of their own flights...but hey, maybe it's a test of how badly you want to work there? Who knows. The no relocation help, while hardly unique to them, would also be quite a bit rougher than normal due to their location. I have heard it's a good airline to work at though. Best of luck to all who apply!
 
No pos space for interview, but if you get hired they can get you positive space from one of their airports.

That has to be tough. Especially if you're not even in the industry at the time you apply.
 
If I was in a position to apply, I don't think I would either. Rent and the like is already hard enough where I'm at, and it's a lot worse in Honolulu. As much as I love eating ramen noodles, I don't think I could do it every day.
