The problem is that if no politician has a snowball's chance in hell of getting elected if he says what people like Dough and I have said.

So we get people who pander to the Idiocracy types by telling them they will keep them safe from all terrorist attacks.

The same Idiocracy types who are worried about a terrorist attack probably chow down on heart attacks on a bun and don't get any more exercise than pushing the buttons on their remote. One thing kills about a million people per year, one thing killed 3,000 more than eight years ago.

So it's of course logical to worry about the thing that wiped out a rounding error eight years ago.
