The number of pilots he has mentored, trained, and introduced to acro is amazing. Hope it was all set up ahead of time.

What exactly is an acrobatics permit? Ass clown media types, he was an airshow pilot with a low altitude waiver yes. Neither of those come into play, he was not doing aerobatics below 1500, airshow stuff only really applies to performing in shows, I don't think the waivers have to be current for practice, ( might, and may be wrong)
