Having a serious A.NET moment! (sorry)

BTW Max,

Where do you work now?

Used to be Chase Right?

Honeywell. At the secondary plant the R&O literally right behind I-10/Sky Harbor Ln. near Jefferson.

From the parking lot here (at work) I can see the REIL's to rwy 08 and the entrance to the employee parking lot!

I haven't worked for Chase in a year in May.

BTW, I gander that we do the same kinda thing (workwise) right?

Lol, what's kinda funny is that I got in trouble like 10 mins ago. Well, not really in trouble.

I kept running from my station to the outside loading area, like a kid on Christmas every 5-10 mins when a loud rumble from a low over flying jet would (litterally) shake the entire plant.

So I was out there looking up at a HP 757 up maybe 1000-1500 ft. taking an immediate left turn to 240. My manager comes up to me, we both look at the plane together and share a moment.

Then he says, "those planes sure are sweet aren't they?"

I respond "yes, yes they are!"

He says (with a chuckle) "hmmmm, maybe I should bring your workstation outside so you can actually get some work done today."

Lol, point taken and we share a laugh. EVERYONE here knows that I love planes and want to be a pilot.

So I'm done, excitements over...until lunch time in 30 mins. I think that I'll be eating lunch outside today in the parking lot!!!111!!!111!!!

Look for my youtube video entitled. "Doooooode, were under runway 08/26!"

:laff:

I used to do that when I was stationed in San Diego at NAS North Island. I used to run out in the hangar to watch the F-14's when they flew in and out for workups and deployments. Their sound is so distinctive.

Lol, yea, loud. Now the 757 (my heart) they have a real distinctive sound!!!

Love it!

I work for "the cactus" across the north runway, jet fixer.

Aye, know whatcha mean. Gettin yer hands dirty, are ye?

Kinda, A&P takes em apart then according to how the cust specifies the work is done.

So this only called for a wash, dimensional, zyglo and to the analyst.

I'm not an A&P only an "apprentice", so I can only take em apart with supervision!

Should be back to ya soon, and not far to travel!
