Should we tip the pilots? There is no set standard in aviation. It is completely voluntary for individual travelers and is not expected. Our crew members will give you the same high standard of service regardless. When customers do tip, there is no percentage scale applied, it’s up to you.

It happens. I'd say for me I'll average around 1K/year.
those are the worst kind of tips. Hard to keep it in your wallet!About the same here. I have also been given a wad of hundreds prior to hitting the Vegas strip.
Uhh, I find Vegas to be a repeat of the boring frat parties. People thinking they are the coolest things in the world then throwing up all over, sign me up!those are the worst kind of tips. Hard to keep it in your wallet!
Yep I was tipped too, even in flight instruction.
It wouldn't be after every lesson. It was usually a few Benjamin's when they got their license or rating.i'd feel insulted if a student tipped me after a flight lesson.
i'd get over it, though.
War Eagle aeh? I had a buddy who went to Auburn.I have gotten many tips flying 135. Normally it's just a hondo or two but once I got $1400 after a week long trip that hit 4 different continents.
