has airnet hired lately

I was thinking of the STP-Denver lear run, for example, which I thought was gone now?

I think either Freight Runners or Suburban is doing this in a 99 now. One of those "out there" runs was supposedly going to ACT in a Mitsi, too, although I'm not quite sure what came of that after ACT went tits up.

STP-Denver in a 99. Yikes. That's a long time to sit there.

I've done it the other way in a 310 and was ready to shoot myself. Going westbound, I dunno.

So Airnet is giving up their jet runs as the airplanes time out? That'd be sad.

There were over 30 jets anyhow (36 sticks in my head but that may have included the 25's as well). STP-OMA-APA is split between a starcheck baron and a suburban 99. ACT now sorta exists again, way to long of a response to explain that one. Not sure what run they are actually flying though.

There were 40 jets a couple years ago? News to me.

I think mninstructor has the more accurate count at 36. I'd have to go back through old maintenance spreadsheets to get an exact count. Bottom line is, way more Lears than we have today. :(

So far Airnet hasn't bought or sold any other a/c types besides the Lear for the past couple of years.

I was talking to one of our senior captains a few days ago. He said back in the day we had 40+ learjets which made us the largest LJ operator in the world at the time.

As far as staffing goes I also know we are short pilots by some amount. I'm in the middle of a 12 day stretch right now myself, and I know alot of other guys are working extra days here and there.

On a side note what happened to 25AN? I was driving around in downtown Oklahoma City and it's sitting in a aircraft junkyard.
