Hardest Interview Question

I've gotten asked that one. It's holds a lot of weight in aviation.

I figured I answered correctly but he kept pushing the issue. "But there's NO ONE around. NO ONE."

Just made me kind of second guess myself on that one.

Maybe he was digging for your underlying reason? The obvious answer to "Do you stop at a stop sign?" is "Yes".
But if there were no immediate (or any) consequences for ignoring it, would you? The point is to find out if you have confidence in the idea of following rules and regs even when nobody's looking. They want somebody who's already asked themselves that question before the interview.

That's what I figured and that's the way I answered. It was just weird the way he was digging like he wanted me to say "Hell no, I'll blow right through it"

"Tell me a time you violated FAR/Company procedure."

Why the hell would I even answer that, but then since everyone has broken a rule at least once, or violated a company procedure, even if inadvertantly, you can't really say "never done anything wrong," they'll know that you're lying to their face.

I am about to if I break my non disclosure agreement if I tell you ;)

Outta shut anyone up on that one.

I like that one.
As for stopping, if at night I turn off my lights to see if anyone else is coming in the other directions then I blow right through it....at least in MS.

"I don't recall." :)

So... Tell me about yourself.
