Today is the 25th anniversary of Pinnacle Airlines. We have grown from a small fleet of saabs flown by the memphis flying club to a large 3000 pilot 250+aircraft fleet that IS STILL RUN LIKE IT HAS A SMALL FLEET OF SAABS flown by the memphis flying club.

I got my birthday present today from Pinnacle - a nice extension into my day off. Now I have 3 days off in the last 18. A small token from the company to show that "people matter"

Thanks for all that you do.

I'm on reserve for 45 minutes tonight. They've tagged me with a turn to the paint shop with a 30 minute scheduled turn getting me back around midnight. It'll likely be 2 am since the last time they did this, we showed up to the tune of "What are you guys doing here?" and it took about an hour for MX to get paperwork faxed in that should have been faxed an hour prior. Not looking forward to doing the Pinchanickle tonight because people can't get their crap together. This is one of those I normally wind up pushing dispatchers to get done, maintenance to get their forms faxed in and fly as fast as I possibly can. These flights fall through the cracks about every time simply because there's no manager screaming "WHY WAS THIS FLIGHT LATE!!!111! MY BONUS!!! NOOOOOOO!!!"

Did anyone notice the Crewtrac schedule in the background of the FO's interview? Looked like a nice 6 day, with hardly any days off, typical PNCL scheduling.

That FO was hillarious becuase you know he is being sarcastic. That video was great. Pinnacle may think those were gags, but we all know they were telling the truth! lol

Yeah. Looked like either vacation or moving days tossed in the middle. The rest of it looked like a normal reserve schedule with a lot of blue, a lot of green and not near enough magenta.

The singing FAs looked like a new hire FA class doing it under duress. I know a couple of them, so I'll ask....assuming they'll even talk about it. "Family oriented?" Not hardly. If Pinnacle were family oriented, I wouldn't have to have a meeting over refusing a junior man because I didn't have someone to watch my kid on a Saturday and our insurance wouldn't have had a ceiling on it that ran out before the end of the year just off wellness visits for new borns. And safety being the primary goal? Not after what was being hinted to me last night, which I'll tell to a few close friends over alcohol, and that's about it....

LOL.. Is that SN in the video? "Safety is our primary goal, updating our charts is not!"

Awesome!
