Looking back at my last month of flying in October, I think I did a lot of 'slam-clicking'.
Layovers in Mexico City and I just wanted to go to some hole-in-the-wall restaurants and meander around at my own pace in Polanco with no destinations in particular. The copilot went home in Las Vegas, and I had just spent a week there so I just watched Hulu because I couldn't eat solid foods and couldn't enjoy a cocktail because I was on antibiotics. Laid over at home the next night and had a medium-length layover in Dallas where downtown was loaded full of AT&T conventioneers packing every bar, restaurant and lounge in relative walking distance of the hotel. Plus, I kept changing copilots every day (staffing, we need to hire like YESTERDAY) and at some point you get tired of having to re-tell your life story twice a day.
