Hageland Hiring?

Is Hageland still hiring? I sent in a resume a couple weeks ago but haven't heard from Mr. JR Beans as of yet. My e-mails/phone calls have not been returned - shocking:) I can't believe the amount of competition for a single-engine cessna flying job in Western Alaska!! "Want to fly an over-weight, under-powered aircraft - at the max aft CG limit with a load of soda and potato chips to remote eskimo villages?!.......oh and did I mention in the worst weather conditions on earth?? I do I do!!" What is wrong with us?? I guess they are on tv now.....maybe that has something to do with it? I think I might have to send in my headshot in - maybe that will help........... I'm not so sure about this aviation business........might be time to go to law school!!

They're definitely gonna call you back now ;)

I just got a voicemail from them. looks like they are looking to fill spots in March and April. They called me off a resume I submitted there over a year ago.

I spent a year flying for Hageland. It was a great experience, and you will learn alot. The bush schedules were 14 on/ 14 off. Make sure you know what you are getting in to. The winters are cold, the wind blows hard, and FAR's are suggestions.

I guess they have a SIC / Apprentice program as well -- any insight on getting hat into the ring of hungry pilots? Oddballpilot.com had a great interview.
