Had a flight thru LAS Class B go bad....

And don't get me started on USAF controllers and how they deal with ANY civilian airplanes near their airspace.

I've never had big issue's with military control. I've only dealt with a few (mostly Whiteman AFB), but they are really helpful. Heck, Whiteman went ouf of their way to vector me around some thunderstorms. They (military control) seem to be much easier to deal with than anything in or around Daytona.

I've noticed that the guys up at LAs are complete D-Bags. They do get busy, but nothing like So-Cal, and those guys are almost always accomidating.

I move for a vote of "no confidence" for the LAS controlers. It's not like they have a ton of airports around, like the LA Basin has to get them all stressed out.

So true. I wonder what the LAS controllers would do in SoCal for a night? Too much metal for them.... and there's GA to deal with too?

San Diego is the Red Carpet Tour Team, they rock. They give out Class B clearances like candy on halloween.

Agree there.....Went LGB - SEE Saturday no issue, Cleared through Bravo, crossing Mirimar, whatever I wanted. CD at LGB was an ass though.....Got an earful for saying PA28A/U, he wanted to hear P28A/U

True, but it also depends on the amount of traffic and time of day. No problems at night, found most accommodating. I find Ormond Beach and Flagler where most of my problems are. Too short for us to do touch and goes at OMN, so taxi back end up waiting for 20+ minutes on the ground.

Dallas has always been pretty good to me in the 152. Only time I haven't been allowed in the bravo was when they were landing south and my flight path took me right across the approach path. All they did then was had me stay with them, stay low, and go up north to get around the path.

Radar service terminated, squawk VFR frequency changed approved... oh and by the way the Las Vegas Class Bravo airspace begins at 12 o'clock and 1 mile, good day!

MSP- IFR or VFR, if you're in a small GA and not landing in their area you will get the run around.

On a Saturday around 1pm I got cleared into the MSP Class B from the NW going into KSTP (About 10 miles from KMSP). I was in an Arrow. They told me they needed me lower and I told them just let me know what you need and I'll give it to you. However, on my depature they steered me clear of the Bravo.
