H-EMS

scottyboy75 I have always dreamed of flying helicopters but right now I just fly fixed wing. I am considering adding a helicopter certificate in the next few years where do you see this industry going? Have been told in the past having commercial fixed and helio can help with getting jobs with oil companies. Just wondering if you think its possible to go the civilian route and get a job or if I should stick to the fixed wing aircraft.

It is hard to say right now. Some companies are lowering minimums, some are raising minimums. I have interviewed for many jobs as a CFII that require 500hrs. Others are advertising for tour jobs at 200hrs- 300 hrs. So in short I have not a clue anymore. :panic:
