So I found the cheapest ticket, 189 bucks R/T, from pit-dsm from jan 19 back jan 21...

considering their current situation, will they still be around then?

Is it worth to purchase now?

Certainly if you're apprehensious about ATA being around, consider spending some more cash. Cheaper than any backup plan.
