GulfStream International Airways Hirings F.O.'s

First calls for F.O.'s should go out between 4-6 weeks, as told to me by a member of H.R. I assume they have a final class to finish up.

Two questions you should ask up front: what's the pay and how long is the employment agreement. I can almost promise you that if they go from PFT to hiring off the street, there will be some kinda comittment tieing people there monetarily. How long do you have to test the waters to see if you like it or not? On the pay issue, if it's anything less than what Great Lakes pays, don't go. Great Lakes should be the lowest any B1900 operator pays people. The $9 they pay the PFJers is just so the marketing guys can say "See, you ARE getting paid!"

It's not very well known, and mostly international guys. There are a small handful of Americans in the program.

They're not required crewmembers, and will be bumped for cargo as far as I know. They don't pay anybody to sit in the right seat so they're not taking a job.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to make excuses for this program...

Believe it or not Gulfstream is a member of the Teamsters with an FO payscale (for when they get their 250 hours). APC shows 1st year FO at 18 bucks an hour.
