Antisocial Monster
Guess who I ran into the other day...
I was sitting on the ramp in Charleston, SC minding my own business and thinking about the ground stop that were about to be involved in for heading back to the New York area when a CHQ CRJ pulls up next to us. I see the crew pop out of it and a new one come off the jetway (we were on hard stands) and thought to myself, "...there's.....there's no way.....it can't be."
It was.
Russ (FL270 from the forums) waltzed up to the CRJ and started talk with the other crew.
I hadn't seen this guy since like Vegas in 2004! The last time I saw him was when he blasted off to Indy with MQAAOrd and her husband on a red eye on Saturday of NJC that year. I ran out of the plane and walked up to him kinda staring not really believing I was running into this guy who I fought with so much on Jetcareers (but got along really, really well with at the same time) and he kinda looked at me, blinked and said, "There's no ####ing way, HOW THE HELL ARE YOU!?"
Small world out there. I only got to chat with him for a few seconds before I had to run back to my plane, finish getting the folks on it and getting ready to get up to Newark.
Sounds like he's doing well! Busy as heck with the wife/house/life, but it was great to see him again.
