Greatlakes pays more than Skywest?

Ha! Yes. That's great. In case y'all can't tell I'm new here. Not new to aviation. Just new to trying to get to Delta..
 
Corporate world. I hear we don't have a chance. I'm gambling on United. Not gonna happen yet bit I guess crazier stuff has happened

I have one, and worked as a mechanical engineer for five years. It's not all it's cracked up to be... Life at a Legacy or even CA at a decent regional is better IMO. But yeah, it is better than Great Lakes.

There is far, far more to your W2 than pay rates.

Please don't make that mistake.

Problem is, you then need to go somewhere else to get jet time and go back to making 24/hr.

Yeah, we have a couple that came direct here at G4, and I heard that a guy went directly to FDX. But that's the exception, not the rule.

Doing the regional bounce isn't worth it for an extra $3-5 an hour.
