Great Wolf Lodge (KC)

ZapBrannigan

If it ain’t a Boeing, I’m not going. No choice.
Ok, so the good news is that Great Wolf is a ghost town this week so we haven't waited in line for any slides and mini-me is having a blast!

The bad news is that after 5+ hours of nonstop slides I am exhausted and waterlogged!

Still, seeing little guy happy makes it all worthwhile.

Not only are you making him crazy happy, but you're bonding with him and creating special memories. I am still amazed to this day, at the things my own grown children (of whom two of them have kids of their own) remember from when they were little kids. Things we did, things we said, things we ate, places we went, funny stuff, sad stuff, they remember so much. And the re-telling of those events and the laughter, love, togetherness and comments are always there forever. They remember stuff that I have long forgotten. lol Hope you have a wonderful vaca.

Not sure about the bikinis. the one or two I was looking at I was embarrassed when I realized they were probably 16 or 17 years old. Most of the adults wearing bikinis were very overweight, or had c-section scars, or we're covered with tattoos. Guess I'm getting picky in my middle age. Great Wolf was fun, but it's definitely redneck Disneyland. Lots of open containers.

Wish I would have know you were doing this. One of the companies I do mystery shopping for just had this location pop-up to be shopped and I couldn't do it. Hope you had fun!

(Is the hot-tub area still a foam party?)
