Great start to the weekend!(hired)

Thanks for the encouragement guys, although Inverted deserves the real congrats. I'm stoked for the opportunity to interview but am not out of the woods yet. Having no sim time is a bit of a concern having heard some horror stories. Planning on giving 100% and hoping for the best. The AMF site recommends getting some sim time before the interview. Not really an option for me.

Inverted, how was your sim ride? Which sim did they put you in?

Don't go into the interview withough flying a sim. Not just a little bit. Make sure you get yourself a strenuous workout tracking, intercepting, holding, DME arcs, and shooting precision and non precision approaches in compact and quick succession of each until you're completely comfortable with it. (run on sentence) The approaches should be into places that you're completely unfamiliar with. If you're not sweating, you're not working hard enough.

Congratulations!! good to see you guys moving forward.. & i agree with inverted this site has been very helpful. it's definitely a wonderful community here

I think I'll heed this advice. Just found a Daytona area pilot factory that rents frasca time. Thanks for the help guys!

Cool.

I was offered the job last October but had to turn it down for a Hawker job in Saudi Arabia. Let's just say the Saudi job was sold to me very well!!

Hoping job offer is still on table and planning to contact Sherri soon.

People used to come here and build small fortunes rather quickly. Sadly, the pay rates have gone wayyyyy down.
