I just got an unsolicited recruitment letter from Great Lakes. No mention of the horrible pay.
I think I'll pass.
I am pretty sure there is both a single pilot type and a type with a FO restriction on the 1900. Almost certain. There is no single pilot/multi-crew type rating for the 1900 like some Citation types.

Its a restriction based on how you are checked, like a VMC circling limitation.I am pretty sure Ameriflight and Alpine Air operate the B1900 single pilot.
$28 an hour at GL? The guys getting hired at Mesa etc are only getting $22.50....

BE-1900 SECOND IN COMMAND REQUIRED.
The SIC limitation is due to their training program. They train and take a checkride with an SIC. That requires the limitation since they don't demonstrate single pilot proficiency.I'm 100% sure they do. And I have never heard of any restrictions as far as single/multi crew on the type.
