Great Lakes hiring F/Os

was it a written letter or email? Curious about times as well.
I've had an app in for about 3 weeks. 790TT and 32ME haven't heard anything.

I have more TT and just slightly more ME time. I also have six years military experience. They sent an email.

I had the phone call from GLA today inviting me to an interview. After asking for my recent flight experience (not much) they decided not to invite me for the interview. I understand that but I'm still disappointed. Got an interview scheduled next week with a part 135 cargo operator on C-208, I hope I get the job!

It is with a FedEx feeder. I really want to experience that type of flying and aircraft (single pilot turboprop), sounds challenging and I like a good challenge.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about not being called because of lack of currency or multi time, it's not personal. 1900 training is pretty challenging if you're not current in IFR multi engine flying and they know that.

To those interviewing on the 6th and flying out the day before...if you want to save some cash and are down to split a hotel room...shoot me a PM.

Hey guys I have about 780/100. Just curious what my chances are on getting a call. I see some of you with higher times getting the thanks but no thanks letter, but most of my last 100 hours has been multi cross country. Think that will help since I am current? Just sent my stuff in yesterday. Again just curious on your opinions? Thanks

Heard from one of their Captains the other day that the Chief Pilot wants to see at least 700tt. Your multi time is good--I would say your chances are good :)

got the call today for the 17th, 1100ttl 56me, anyone here work there and know about commuting from the east coast

If there is one lesson I have learned is to slow down and try to enjoy the journey. Otherwise you'll end up saying "I put up with ________ for THIS!?!" when you do finally get "there".

While this job is a lifestyle, don't let it be your life. Otherwise you're probably setting yourself up for dissapointment.

...that is all
