well.... if you are young, & single I guess you could use it to build some hours, Im sure the experience wouldnt hurt..

The mins are total BS...they were here at UND last week and hired ppl on the spot (most were less then 400tt)

Young but married and a 2 month old baby... the pay is still ridiculously low independent of socio-economic status. To have published mins at that level and only offer $1200/month guaranteed + per diem isn't even a slap in the face, it's a kick in the nuts!

I also have some friends at Lakes and they all love it. Experience alone speakes wonders. What other airline would you have the opportunity to shoot an NDB down to minimums in the mountains.. It would be a good choice for experience.

The experience would be great, pretty good pilot group, well respected given what kind of flying they do.

Too bad I'm not 19 and still living with my parents, otherwise I'd be all over it.

Agreed, that place is a joke. I'd love to go back to CO, but seriously - no freaking way.

Go fly freight, you will find the answer to that question real quick...and guess what, you can make more than 15 bucks an hour....

Two friends that i graduated from high school and college decided to go to ATP and after living in the desert for a few months decided they would do anything to go back to Colorado, both of them just started training at Great Lakes and are both planning on living with the parents.
