Hello all,
I've been a member of these forums since 2002 when I was in high school. For a few years there, I read the forums pretty actively.
Anyway, I thought I'd mention that I just graduated college with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and start working next Monday as an engineer. I've decided that flying for a living isn't for me. This notion was reinforced by my experience with the Philly snow debacle this past weekend.
Nevertheless, my interest in aviation has yet to be tamed. I accumulated 20 hours of flight time a few years ago, but found it too difficult to finish my PPL while maintaining studies and playing a varsity sport. I'm looking forward to picking this back up and getting my license (this summer) and my own plane (many summers from now).
