Congrats! Enjoy halibut fishing in your off time!I start ground school on January 24th at a freight company out in Western Alaska. When out on the line I will be a SIC in a CASA 212.
I have a lot of members here to thank including Rudabega, Alaska45, Polar742, rjmore, Surferlucas, and many others. Thank you to Doug and Kristie for such an amazing site. Patience, and persistence are two things I have learned. They are two of the keys to me getting this job.
Here is a picture of my new ride!

Ryan?
ha ha No I'm sure it is Ryan Air. I was asking if Alaska45's name was Ryan B.Judging from the pic he posted, it's got to be. It's only them and Bering that operate the 212 iirc.
Love the rear ramp. Casa-235/295(much more of a baby hurc) or the L-100/382 would be bad ass airplanes to operate into unimproved runways.
Thank you! I will give a good write up.Congrats Alec!
I knew you'd get a fun, exciting job! You'll have to give a good right up on your training once you get through it, I don't know much about the 212, but I can't wait to hear about it.
Enjoy the ride, you've more than earned it.
Uh...have you seen Nome?Congrats...it's beautiful up there....
