I got the call today from Mesaba! I start training on the 29th. I can't believe it's finally happened. Thanks for all of the encouragement everyone! The crazy thing is that I was so excited I forgot to ask which a/c I will be flying. Oh well, I will find out soon enough.

You'll probably be lucky enough to fly into DVL, GFK, TVF and all the other small towns in Northern MN.

Maybe I'll see you around!

If you ever over night at AZO(Kalamazoo, MI), give me a call. I live around airport. 5 minutes drive - need to drive to another side of airport.

That's sweet man! I'm hoping to get picked up at Mesaba when I start down the regional road (base in DTW=bonus).

Congrats on the job ! I am waiting on a call from them as we speak regarding a Crew Scheduler position. If/When you make it to MSP drop me a PM.

Awesome man! I would want the avro just because it looks cool. I would love to work there but I hear you have to have good connections with current pilots there, was that your case?

I believe that helps a great deal. One of hte CFII's I flew with recently worked there PT throwing bags for a while on the days he was not working the CFI gig. He is now flying the AVRO and loves it.

Congrats man, that is freakin' awesome. And I have to agree, the Avro looks bad a$$.

I sent my junk in, but I don't know anybody so I'm sure it is in the circular file...haha

I didn't know anyone there. I sent in my resume and received a call a week later. Keep trying!

970 multi? That's weak man....

How did you rack up so much time?

Was the interview as expected or as advertised on aviationinterviews.com. Lots of TMAATW......

He's an instructor at ATP--you know, the "total twin training" people.

Yea, I have instructed at ATP for a while (all multi). Just don't ask me to do a chandelle.

The Mesaba interview was great. The sim ride is low pressure. The written tests were straight forward. Just review instrument basics (Jepps and FARS). Good luck.

That's alright...it's a pointless manuever...

Tell that to PhotoPilot and ask him to recount the first time he flew with me down in the canyons! I think he'll disagree with you!
