Got another other \'i\'

Yup. CFII. Won't bother posting how it went since so many other people just took it.

I don't think it was 'easy' since I always stress over rides... but I will say it went very well and was only 2 ground and 1.4 flight, with an hour of ground spent just going over paperwork.

Congrats Ed!

The double-i was some of the most satisfying instruction I gave. Primary was fun, multi-engine instruction scared the death of of me (after unintentionally spinning a Seneca during a Vmc demo), but I enjoyed flying around hte northern California stratus layer teaching approaches.

Just curious...how difficult was it to recover?

Wow. I have yet to see the Seneca even lose directional control. With the heat and down here, we always stall before I run out of rudder/aileron. To simulate directional control loss, the best my instructor can do is block the rudder.

(offtopic) Iain .. how do you pronounce your name.. for some reason i always thought it was Lain.. i dont know my mind plays tricks on my.. is it pronounced like Ian?
