Good luck with all that/ADIZ Buster

Yeah, I used the wrong word. I can admit that. Should have said "one of the stupidest things I've ever heard."

Besides, I do know enough to judge. How does someone get kicked off a message board at more than one place? That takes talent.

Simple, I reply to idiots like you and then the same idiots complain that someone had the balls to stand up for themselves. The student pilot and the private pilot both made a mistake. But here is where this situation differs from any other expectation of a students knowledge. These guys operated less than 100nm from the ADIZ. This fact alone means the student should be well versed in the requirements to operate near or in this airspace. He is now taking advntage of that mistake and claiming he has the answer to better ways of teaching aviation.

If he has a better way, why didn't he take the extra time to become familiar with the procedures for the ADIZ. You can't make a huge public mistake like this and then claim you can teach navigation better than what is taught now.

Way to respond to what I was asking. So how many messages boards have you been kicked off of, and how many of those have let you back on? And why the name calling? You're the only one that is doing that, nobody else is.

Back on topic, do you honestly think he did that on purpose? If you do there's something wrong.

[off-topic]

You do know, Vic, that your whole post was tainted by the first sentence
that you wrote? That post has some good, well-written points in it, but once I was turned off by the (two-way) vitriolic tone of the first point it was very difficult to continue reading the rest with an open mind.

My personal observation is that you've been much more of a productive member here the last few months, but comments like "moron" and "idiot like you" certainly harken back to the *old* you. I certainly hope that you don't decide to go back there. I'd much rather have civil discourse with you, and I know that you are capable of that. I was just getting to the point of reading your posts without a predisposition to be negative and, if possible, I'd like it to stay that way.

Your call, I guess.

Let's see: Flightinfo, Clear-and-a-million, AOPA, and once here.

I got kicked off of Flightinfo because I didn't take FalconCapt's crap, same with Clear-and-a million. I got kicked off of AOPA's webboard because I identified the clique, and gave back too them what they gave too me. I got kicked off of here once, and tried a second time to do a suicide-by-cop. I have to give Doug and Krisite props on that one.

Having said all of this, you are actually going to sit there and say that what I posted was the "stupidest" thing you ever heard? I called you a moron and an idiot because you obviously live a shelterd life. Otherwise, you should have heard many more absurd statements than what I have made. Do you realize I am talking too you as though you are a child?

Anyone ever thought that he did this on purpose just to create a business for himself.
I don't think he did it on purpose, but the thought definitely crossed my mind. One ADIZ bust, followed by a media frenzy, and then a seven page spread in AOPA magazine later......It did cross my mind, and people have done worse. I really just think he's trying to capitalize on all of it now.

Ask the question this way and you may see the reasoning in my statement. How could this be an accident? How does a pilot seem unaware of a TFR that is so well know?

I agree.

A mistake is not an excuse for stupidity and a total lack of common sense.
