Good luck Republic dudes and dudettes

It has been emailed to the pilots. Union is saying they need to review it before they make a decision on it. Of course, it's a massive document so we are all digesting it. Stay tuned...

It's my understanding they had a TA in 2014 that was voted down. What happened after that? Why was it voted down?

I did a quick skim, but this one is vastly different from the TA. Many improvements.

I don't work there, but I imagine there will militant people on both sides of the fence.

My understanding from what I have heard (I haven't seen it for myself yet... I don't work there anymore either) was that Jr Manning, Contactability and airport reserve all took QOL hits (someone with it in front of them feel free to chime in here if I am wrong). When I was there, those were HUGE issues contributing to the last TA result.

$40/hr first year pay was unheard of just a couple years ago. Finally, some pattern bargaining that might be working. It's nice when there is a labor shortage, makes you feel desirable.

I'm interested to see what this does for the SkyWest and Air Wisconsin pilot groups looking at their new TAs... It's not a bad contract, but a lotnofnhe soft pay doesn't look that great.
