It's definitely been a good day! Got the call after my last flight today that I got the job for flying some freight out of South Dakota. I went to the interview on Friday and got the call today (tuesday)... definitely a good day! I start class on April 10th... I do my training in a Cessna 402, but my route's gonna have me flying a Cessna 404. The company has some Metro's, and it sounds like upgrade time's about a year. Turbine PIC in the future's always nice! Definitely a good day!

The second one today. Suuuweeeet! Rock On :rawk:

The company name is Business Aviation Courier... I'm really looking forward to it! It seems like a really good company with a good safety record. Also, living in South Dakota I should be able to watch the Minnesota Twins and Vikings games! Go Minnesota Twins!

Congrats and welcome to the club. Let us know how training is for you and Lloyd so people can see how the cargo guys do it.

Congratulations!!! it's great hearing about all the move ups lately!!

the one nice thing about freight - cargo doesn't complain! :)

The 404 is basically a non-pressurized 421, with the geared 375hp engine. The 402 is a little smaller and has a 300 hp engine.

Little known fact is Scenic Airlines in the canyon used to fly 404's.

Thanks! That makes sense since the 406 is a non-pressurized, turbine 421 (or turbine 404 then, whichever you prefer).

Geared engines... they must be fun.
