GoJets Cancelling Flights Frequently?

I just finished a 4-day that was comprised entirely of cancelled GoJet flights, 12 in all just on my pairing, and I know that 9e sent another 200 to LGA along with us to cover more. BUF, CHS, CLT, placs like that which are not normally served by 200s. So basically every flight had 20ish people bought off of it, and typially we had a gojet crew deadheading .

And it has been on my schedule for nearly a week, so its like they knew well in advance.

When I was upgrading the other month. TSH got these new TV'S at the training building that measures the cancellation from all TSH flights. Gojet and TSA are pretty up there in cancellation.

I think the TSH umbrella may be crumbling soon. Compass may work out alright if they can keep the movement and such going.

What I have been hearing from ex-GoJetters is that the place is a sinking ship right now. If TSA is having issues with cancellations then they may be next.

Personally I think being at a non-wholly owned in a few years could be a disaster for some people. Having mainline cash to help the wholly-owned airlilnes seems to work. Just look at what Delta has had to do to fill classes at Endeavor. No independent regional can afford to drop that kind of money on bonuses.

While I think there is some truth right now in being wholly-owned, they won't be able to stem the tide completely. The weaker regionals will fail. And the stronger ones will likely consolidate, just like their parent companies have.

Ya know I have never ridden a hotel van with a GoJet crew that had anything good to say about their company.

Well, the A/C was headed to Denver and diverted to Victorville. That's a strange diversion :aghast: and a long walk back to Denver.

I only like that post because you properly used the quote function.

In all seriousness, there isn't anything in Victorville except for an airport, a paint shop, and every iteration of meth head.

Glad I'm not too old to learn.

Been to Victorville. Seeing the sights doesn't take too long. GE's flying engine test bed was also based there (early 74 with five engines), and nearly as many dead and/or mothballed transport aircraft as are at Mariana.
