Going missed

So... where/what exactly are you supposed to go/do when you go missed on this approach into Nogalas, AZ(KOLS)?
VOR-B

The VOR A is also vague but has a published procedure turn. I imagine you'd go outbound and try again or go to your alternate, but what about the VOR-B?

Personally, I'm reading it as you're supposed to hold on the 316 and 276 radial respectively, but with no procedure turn on the VOR-B, how would you get another shot at it? I could see going all the way back out on the feeder route and contacting ATC, but if you were lost coms, I'm drawing a blank here.

VOR-B is weird. It literally says make a climbing right turn to intercept the OLS 316 radial outbound (the reciprocal of your inbound course), and once you've climbed above 7600 ft (100 ft above the Minimum Safe Altitude for that sector) leave the radial by making a left turn back direct OLS VOR/DME and climb to 10000 ft. No holding instructions are provided at all. The whole maneuver looks like it's designed to keep you west of the VOR/DME and out of the high terrain and restricted areas.

VOR-A is similar. No holds, no instructions provided after reaching OLS VOR/DME. You simply turn right and loop back around to intercept the OLS 276 radial outbound (the reciprocal of your inbound course) and fly outbound while climbing to 7800, then once you've passed 7800 turn right again and proceed direct the VOR/DME and climb to 10000 ft. Then cross your fingers that you get more instructions from ATC before you pass the VOR and fly into the restricted area. :D

VOR/DME-B - You climb in a right turn to intercept the 316 radial off OLS, when you hit 7600' turn left back to the VOR and climb to 10,000', hold at the VOR. To get another shot, ask ATC to re-vector. And they're going to have to send you back to ARVEY, the IAF. Maybe the jep is more clear?

Yeah, I understand the initial instructions, but I just don't understand what the heck you're supposed to do after that. Luckily it's not IMC there very often and I'm not based there... :)

The Jepp is the same. I forgot that myself and 2 other pilots were looking at that and were like "WTF????" but we never came to a resolution. Thought I'd post it on here. I figured as much as you'd just contact ATC again. I guess if you were lost coms, you'd be going to your alternate or getting creative. It's the first approach I've seen, or at least noticed, that doesn't depict a way to get another shot at it by yourself.

The missed is just to get you back up high enough without hitting rocks along the way for you to be able to communicate with ATC for further instructions.

Yes, if you lost comms, you'd be in an emergency situation and doing the best you can.

Just hold over the VOR on your inbound course when you hit it, just like you always do at a clearance limit.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus that ate your iPhone.

Lost comm emergency, and you want another shot at the approach... Get creative I suppose?

Published missed, hold at OLS, as you would with any other clearance limit.
Take V395 from OLS vor NW bound to ARVEY int. (also the IAF) and use the hold published on the en route chart as a 'hold in lue of a PT' to get re established back inbound for the approach.

(c) Proceed via airways to your alternate (you do know where the nearest nice weather is, right?)
