Go Jet

Working for an alter-ego airline is NOT the same as being a 'scab'.

It's certainly not much less poorly looked at, but it's not the same.

My understanding was the GoJet, in getting the bigger airplanes, got a "little bit" of a raise over TSA...but not enough to cover the size of the machine (or perhaps it was the ability to upgrade quicker at GoJet relative to your place at TSA...can't remember.

Either way, how much less does TSA make than GoJet? If GoJet actually pays on par or more, then why would he apply at TSA? Thinking being...you are ultimately working for the same scumbag anyway (Hulas) - so why would you do it for less. (My answer assumes he's ok with the whipsaw that happened many years ago). Seems as if a lot of the heat against GoJet has died down believe it or not. In the old days simply mentioning their name would lead to multiple infractions given and maybe a banning or two. This is relative peace!

Is that why there are a bunch of airlines in contract negotiations as we speak?

Is that why it took Pinnacle a decade to get a new contract, half of which was spent in negotiations?

Yeah, no. Regular airline pilots did a great job of undercutting other pilot groups before Gojet came around.
 
As some people have said, it's an alter-ego issue for many of us, not an undercutting issue (as much). That said, if you want the job, accept the good and bad.

Per the Master Scab List definition:

Really? Someone on this forum gets an interview and you're being negative about it to them? I actually counted multiple congratulations before you posted. I do not know lisboa but I am sure he can make his own decisions without your personal take on the company, whats it to you? This is nothing personal, I'm just wondering why you posted if you had nothing good to say.

Congrats on the interview invite. Did you have any turbine time? Do us a favor and post a gouge if you have time. And if you get on, maybe post a bit about QOL there. I'm curious to compare the ominous predictions seen on this forum to info directly from the horses mouth.
