Glamorous Life Flying Corp

Based on the description of the demands of the standards contract, I am guessing they probably paid the new guy more money because he was much hotter.

I can't imagine a straight plane owner trying to dictate as many details about how his female crew dressed. Anything close to this would be grounds for a sexual harassment suit.

I'm still confused - the uniform stipulates "Boxer-briefs" and "flip-flops" for male crew...are they allowed to wear pants? Seriously, maybe I missed something in the article, but I'm envisioning a cockpit with pilots drenched in A-F cologne, boxer-briefs and flip-flops. Are they allowed to wear pants? I can't feature my Grandpa or any of his TWA circa 1953 pilot-class alums doing this.
