getting the degree

Anybody have thoughts or opinions on online degrees? ERAU has one in professional aeronautics, I'll have to see what will and will not x-fer there, but if anyone has advice or info it's appreciated.

I'm instructing my way through college right now; will have enough units to get the AS at the end of this semester, still have to go for the BS.

What's your major?

Psychology. But I actually don't care what I major in.

Thanks for the link.

Dude, psychology degrees are great!

Not sure what they're great for, but they're great!

Ed, i have many thoughts on the subject since i have been enrolled in both UVSC and currently ERAU (as well as three other universities in the past 15 years). I am coming to LGB for four days for the AOPA convention. We should hook up and I will certainly tell you what I think.

Gah, I knew I forgot to do something. Ed, I'll e-mail you that list of classes for the Pro Aero degree. It mostly depends on what your "professional development electives" will be. You can get a decent minor that way. All of my classes from Mississippi State x-fered (Speech, Bio, Organic Chem (physics credit?!?), 4 semesters of Russian, etc). I took the AP English test out of HS, and those credits followed me as well. I took CLEP tests to get out of College Algebra, Prin. of Management, Computer systems, and Microecon.

[/ QUOTE ]yeah.. they are great.. you can do quite a lot with them, just that you have to get the doctorate to go with in order to be able to "use" it, from what i've heard!
