Getting back in the air after PRK

So I had PRK about a month ago and I'm about to go back in for my one month follow up. The vision has come back to 20/20 in both eyes and stabilized already which I'm super excited about. What is the process for being back in the good graces of the FAA? My research has led me to a form that I need to have my eye doctor fill out verifying that my vision has recovered to the required levels for my medical, which I then fax in. Is that it? are there other steps I need to take? How quick is the FAA about getting things moved through the process? How will I receive confirmation I'm good to go?

Happy Flying!

That is it. Just send in the Form 8500-7 and you are good to go.

Now you can buy cool:cool:sunglasses and not those geeky prescription ones:laff:
