LH has two 320neos that theyre only using domestically. But as of a few days ago, they're ready to take more. Seems the engine issues are being worked out at an alarming speed.

Looks like they had to have taken #2 since they made that report on the 22nd as in the Mar 17th new conference they said no more and that they only had one.

Even in the report you posted, it said they Could not support any more than two until they could be used outside of Germany.

Plus the BAE146's Gear turbofan Lycoming ALF502 from 1980, which actually started in the 50's for use on helicopters

I mean...this is essentially just a ducted turboprop. What I want to know is when I can start counting PT6 time as "jet time." Snark aside, this is some absolutely amazing technology - good old Pratt! Always pushing the boundaries of what I thought was possible. A 15% reduction in fuel burn is the difference between being profitable or not. That's amazing!

Just think, another 10% and they can join GE and Rolls in 2005!

Maybe someday they can get the PT6 to match Garrett efficiency circa 1975.
