GB Airways Co-pilot dies mid-flight

Natural causes doesn't mean old age, just an unprovoked medical emergency. Could have been a heart attack, stroke, etc. Very possible at 43.

In the original CNN report they actually put a picture -taken from the gate area I suppose- of the poor guy dead in his seat...Thank God CNN removed the pic!
RIP:(.

Sadly it doesn't surprise me at all that they put the pic up like that :(

Yet another reason I hate the media. So sensationalistic.

Well at least they realized their mistake pretty fast and took the correct actions. They can be a bit thick headed sometimes.

Would be more then a little disconcerting having that happen. They say natural causes but he looks rather young to be dieing from old age. Wonder what happened. RIP man.

Yes gents very disconcerting news. I personally have had the unpleasant experience of actually seeing two individuals in my lifetime succumb to congenital heart failure. (Both of them by the way being in their mid twenties and by no stretch of the imagination deemed obese or even overweight!). -bottom line STRESS KILLS!!!! However coupled with a bad diet it is double jeapordy. I really appreciate the weight loss blog here on JC because good health is VERY important!!! We ALL need to be more health concious!!!

I would consider it pretty insensitive towards the family and friends of the deceased. It seems anything goes if it means selling a story. My brother died in an airshow flying accident nearly 5 years ago. They (ie the news media) were broadcasting the video on the national news within 40 minutes. The families hadn't even been informed yet at that point in time. They usually don't care about such small details of decency though. I'm glad someone saw fit to take the photo down in this case.
