Anyone know how much weight this adds to a Kingair? Is this available on a pc 12 incase I win the powerball? The Garmin Auto land picks up the weather, selects the most appropriate airport/runway, configures the aircraft, and lands.
It will land on a less-than-ideal runway if no appropriate runway exists.
It will also set up a hold pattern if the aircraft is not in the ideal configuration and energy state.
It automatically squawks 7700 so approach/center will know something is wrong.
Autoland also announces intentions, runway selected, location, time to land, and emergency status.
It's actually a relatively robust system.
I dunno, I saw a video of an uber driver in Phoenix that was either drunk, on something, or having a medical emergency. I’d still take my chance with the robot car. This, and now the waymo cars clogging up traffic in SF. This is my shocked face about "tech" not working for anyone......

Okay. Now about my powerball ticket….Says “coming soon” to PC-12 Pro

If someone hits the button can it be overrided, or is that just for if it engaged automatically cause of no response?
An uncommanded auto-land is the ultimate "Now what's it doing?" moment.
am I the only one that doesnt really care about this? id much rather die by my own hand than be killed by two robots in a disagreement on conflict resolution>100 traffic deaths every single day in the US with human drivers.

there would be more fatalities if trains didnt have rails
i truly don’t care, you all want personal mini electric elon trains that have their own part-time job driving brainless meatsacks and their burritos around
enjoy giving up your self determination i guess
The problem is you're not likely to die by your own hand, you're far more likely to be run over by some jackenape in a gigantic truck that he's used to pull a bout a grand total of 1-time and it was a 15' lund.am I the only one that doesnt really care about this? id much rather die by my own hand than be killed by two robots in a disagreement on conflict resolution
Lifetime odds of dying in a car accident is like 1/95?>100 traffic deaths every single day in the US with human drivers.
so if the system doesnt work unless you have 100% participation what are the real odds? The problem is you're not likely to die by your own hand, you're far more likely to be run over by some jackenape in a gigantic truck that he's used to pull a bout a grand total of 1-time and it was a 15' lund
I mean, I presume (and awful presumptuous of me to presume this) that there is a CB you could pull that could kill this... and arguably if I we're flying a king air with this function, I would probably have it with one of those cool "quick pull" CB collars? I mean, just saying. It's a king air, not the space shuttle. But also, yes, it is MUCH more scary to me that the guy couldn't figure out how to turn it off lol.
