Alaska Airlines takes a 737-200 into Dutch Harbor, AK. They have a 3,900 foot strip there. I think Alaska Air keeps certain pilots on line just to fly to Dutch Harbor
 
You could almost land a 737-200 width-wise on an aircraft carrier!

Yeah thats a neat airplane. The MU 2 has the same problem with to tow where you have to disconnect it, but you don't have to worry about the wing span
