Furloughed for one year.

One year ago I was furloughed.

I've very thankfully had the opportunity to move on with my life and do some productive things over the last year. I hope the same is true for all the other guys that got furloughed out there.

Who knows when we're all going to get called back, though hopefully it's soon for everybody left out there on the street, including a bunch of my buddies here at Jetcareers. In the last year the folks left at Express have seen their quality of life reduced, they have seen downgrades and a few have seen furloughs.

Hopefully things start moving upward soon.

What doesnt break you makes you stronger. Although I only experienced it for 6 months, trying to make the most of it can be the most difficult part. I'm glad to hear many have been able to move onto a new part of their life and if they want, later will have the chance to go back....
