A dude I knew in SoCal was from eastern europe and had afunny way of putting things in a conversation. If any of you speak a european language you will understand.
We were always told to go direct to XXX VOR and when told so, we were never quit receiving it. We did so anyways because it was the same route every day.
On one occasion my buddy was on the radio...
ATC "N Cargo XXX are you receiving XXXVOR?
AC " It has always been like never, always"
ATC "............Say what?"
