I was up late so I awoke to this loud noise so I looked outside and the weather didn't even look that bad and there was no tornado watch or warning for the area so I just went to back to sleep thinking they were testing the siren!

How often do y'all get tornados up that way? Where I grew up in Tennessee, went to school in Alabama, and am at right now, they are way too common...just not around airports, it seems
