I am finishing my time in the AF as a Mission Planner (basically a Dispatcher in 121 parlance) for the U-2. I flew the two-seater as part of that qualification program.

I didn't say anything about the pilots, now did I? I said something about the company's idiotic procedures. And mainline does not have idiotic procedures like climbing a jet at less than 200 knots.

I climb my Company's aircraft according to profile.

At times on profile I am climbing at less than 200kts.

I am bad pilot now.

You're going to have to explain that one to me, since I have thousands of hours in that airplane, and can't imagine any reasonable profile that would include a speed of under 200 knots in the climb.

ABC ran the ATC tapes this evening. Where there was the gem of one of the Skywest pilots declaring an emergency and saying they "somehow got into a stall".
