FU, Short flight from WHP to VNY

FU meaning smoke, of course.... SoCal is on fire, but that didn't stop me from my training flight this morning from WHP to VNY to practice landings. My CFI took a few shots with my iPhone, so I thought I would share.

It's a new, vertical velocity prop.

Nah, just kidding. It's just a weird effect that the camera gives. I read somewhere that it has to do with the shutter speed and the vibration of the camera that makes it do that. I've seen it go vertical like that, as well as horizontal. Kinda weird.
