Freaking out a little

So I've been flight instructing for over 10 years now, an I make a good enough income to supplement my wife's "good job". Well the kids are 13 and 15 and I'm not needed as I was when they were little. I saw USA jet was hiring and put in an app, and have an interview Wednesday. I've gone on the gouges and read the reviews, and there is a lot of negative stuff out there, and what I keep thinking is every employer out there has bad reviews, right? I applied because it's close to home but am I going the right direction?

@JaceTheAce should be able to give you some info. I wouldn't rush to judgement before the interview. Just focus on getting it done. The interview is a great opportunity to get a feel for the company as well. You can always say no if it doesn't feel right.

I'd take everything you read with a grain of salt. Not everyone likes the same kind of flying. I know a lot of guys here love single pilot on demand freight, but for me that would make me want to blow my brains out. Some guys hate the regionals, some think it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Nobody else can tell you if it's a good fit for you. But I'd say if it meshes with your home life pretty well, you have the most important part nailed down.

Good luck!

Interview experience is great. Wish I had seen this this post or I could have given you a gouge. Hope all went well.
