Fraudulent PRD Entry, Lost Career Opportunities, and Settlement Advice

What I am really looking for here is a creative suggestion on how to get back into the workforce.

Is a run through at FSI for recurrency on an aircraft I am typed in going to answer that or do I need to get some time under me by renting a GA and punching holes in the sky? Or is there something more creative, like doing a couple of types at FSI?

I know I can't rent a small jet to build time, but will hiring companies accept piston time in a 172?

What other creative ways could I become marketable to hiring companies?

No.

You don’t need GA time or training, you need to fly commercially at any level. Instruct, pull banners, do survey world, small 135. 135 FO.

You were a commercial pilot, you aren’t a commercial pilot.

You have a compelling story but it needs to end with you returning to the ranks of commercial pilots.

You need to be the hero of your story not a sad bastard that got screwed.

Fly for money. That’s your next step.

You realize on very modest returns 8 mil in an investment nets you 300k a year in income. You could live off 200k and take the other 100k a year and fly whenever you want.

I’m just saying.

I hear what you are saying. But I just spent two years sitting on my ass, driving my family crazy. I would very much like to be productive.

I used to fly 91 for a couple of families who were very well off. While those who were earners were great people, the orbiters were insufferable and useless except for spending their benefactors' money. I don't want to become that.

My goal in life has never been to be rich. It has always been to have purpose.

Not saying I would not love to have 'F you money', I am not suggesting turning it down. But I'd like to have meaning beyond just puttering around the garage and spending money. With occasional hundred dollar hamburgers.

I can also say there is zero chance I am seeing a 8 mil settlement. I think I would be very lucky to still be in the 7 figures when all is said and done. The lawyer gets 1/3 and the IRS gets another 1/3.

100% the challenge is getting someone to hire me. Most of the people I have spoken to who would entertain employing me wanted recent experience.

Downshift. You might be the cheap FO some company dreams about. Aim high, start by aiming low.

You mentioned getting some time in a cheap GA plane. Survey companies fly cheap GA planes.

I think you might be trying to dive in where you left off.

Also, downsize and simplify your story. A potential employer doesn’t wanna hear about you suing your former employer.

Keep it simple, your former employer retaliated against you and you are working to resolve it. Provide details as requested or required.
