Former NFL star says he flies on Spirit Airlines to save money

I generally buy discounted tickets "own metal" because I'm familiar and more comfortable with the product.

I've bought a ticket or two on another carrier to fly to the east coast for family business and had a sub-par experience, but it wasn't spirit.

Always that for me, and I've often had to make that decision lol.

The ones that drive me nuts are when people in Group A/B will throw their crap on a seat and say they are saving it for someone. "This seat is saved..." Sorry Maam that's not how it works. Now please move your things or I will.....They won't bother you with idle chatter for the flight. works out quite nice.

I hear ya, man, nothing beats the Delta product. But you guys have been 30%+ more expensive than United lately! It's better, but not that better. :)

I have never bought a ticket on spirit and never will. The only time I've flown spirit my employer bought the tickets and I didn't have a choice. They don't even have seat back pouches. You have no where to put anything. It's this elastic criss crossing strap which makes no sense. Never again.

do you even ultra low?

Hol up. You fly Frontier but think Spirit is no good?
No difference between frontier or united on economy. Same cabin setup same seat with seat back pockets only difference is if you want a non alcoholic drink served to you. I was just a little shocked the spirit had no where to set things.
