For real story... I am home for Thanksgiving this week and Scheduling calls to try to SDO me for a trip. Goes something like this:

"Is this First Officer Pomerantz?"
"Uh yeah... why?" (still in bed)
"We need you to fly 2 day trip. Show time is 1140. SDO pay of course."
"I'm not in domicile now."
"Oh, why?"
"That's just how I roll, dog!"

At that point he sounded a little puzzled and asked if I could deadhead me back. I told him I was with out a car (a lie, but heck it is a holiday and I was scheduled off) and he let it go at that.

Now I need to find a way to try that line on Indy Center.

I think you forgot "oversensitive".

I just went back through this whole (sometimes silly) thread and did not find where anyone called you "stupid, brainless, or aeronautically challenged", much less (e)veryone. There were some opposing points of view to your stated opinion, but very few disparaging remarks.

Relax a little. The world would be a boring place if everyone agreed with you. Disagreement is not the same as belittling. Pull up a chair, feel free to give your opinions, and plan on some of them getting shot at. You may certainly take shots at other's opinions as well, just be prepared to substantiate your point of view on occasion.

Most of all, enjoy. Life's too short and precious to get upset at comments on an internet forum.
