i met a young lady the other day who has got the aviation bug and wants to fly for the airlines or the military but is concerned she would not be able to get a Class I medical due to a peanut allergy. I didn’t ask severity but I am going to assume worst case scenario anaphylaxis.
Is this medically disqualifying or could one get a special issuance on a case by case basis. I was unable to find anything online regarding so reaching out here.
