I've seen those on-board printer things but we don't have them at UPS. I think United has them and they can get the ATC clearance and pre-takeoff weight and balance info on it. It wouldn't be for airport diagrams as it would be too small. We have charts supplied by the company that give us this info that we have to carry around all the time. My complaint about the airport diagram is that it's so small that it can be hard to figure out sometimes.

You'll see "follow me" cars quite a bit on busy FBO ramps, such as Signature at IAD. They'll pull up to the entrance of the ramp as you're taxiing in, and you follow them to where they want you to park.

A piece of advice that will last you a long time : If you want to be taken seriously, ALWAYS use proper English and grammar. Check your spelling, too.

Airport diagrams are available in published charts, through services such as Jeppessen, I have downloaded & printed basic ones off of AOPA's website, and if you have very good eyesight you can use the ones in the AFD (very small print).

As for onboard printers, I think you're thinking of the ACARS printers. Those are used to print the ATIS, crew reroutes, messages from dispatch, etc. These are not on every airplane.

No, no, Lloyd. Way too long.

You gotta be short and sweet. Think 30 second soundbite. Think Cartman!

"Screw you guys, I"m going home."

We had the on-board printer in the Saab. It would be way too small for an airport diagram. It was only for text... ATIS, clearance, dispatch messages, etc.

LOL.....this coming from you???

Seriously tho Bri you come along way on this site taken a lot of crap and handled it gracefully.
I think that you might have "arrived". Your post as of late seem more mature and more informed and less like a sim pilot.
You might be qualified to give advice on here and not be laughed at.
