I'm not - I make no excuse
"Urban" hunting can provide its challenges and rewards. If there were more turkey in my immediate area I would do it locally like whitetail. For example, the next property over is the hide of a horse - meaning the biggest buck I have seen. I've seen him twice, ten points wide and high and in the 200+ lb. range. Honestly it would be a shame to end his reign on that hill. But where I am at on 2-5 acre plots with woods and wood lines between it makes it difficult to plan the hunt itself (getting in and out, making a shot safely, timing, etc.). Deer operate in these areas because they are very safe and there is no pressure. They can hide and they can see. I got permission to hunt it, but the previous owner moved and I have yet to speak to the new owners. Even with that its tough set up.
I've had two eight points go at it in my back yard. They move at night mostly. But the same issues preside.
